In September 2023, I felt the call to use my front porch as a place of fellowship, seeking the Lord, and meeting people where they are at. The Lord blessed it, and weekly I found a precious group of ladies at my home reading the Word of God with anticipation.
This group has been such a blessing, and I’ve again felt a call to share this blessing with others in my community. My mission is to help set up other ‘Porch Fellowships’ across Shelby County- meeting ladies where they are and simply reading the Bible together.
All it takes is willingness to learn. You don’t need to know Christian lingo or know how to use a Bible. You may have grown up in church or never attended. You may want to grow deeper in your walk with the Lord or simply be curious.
Whatever your reason, I’m glad you’re here. I can’t wait for you to find community on a local front porch.
